Discontinued
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
The new generation Athlon XP processors, with the new kernel Thoroughbred and frequency of 2.0 GHz (2400 +).
The main change compared to its predecessor (Palomino), the transition to 0.13 mikronovému manufacturing process.Reduction of the production process brings several benefits.Above all it is a smaller core processor, which is linked to lower power and thus produce less heat.Smaller manufacturing process also makes it possible to achieve higher frequencies.Other features Thoroughbred core based on the architecture QuantiSpeed remain in Palomino.
L1 cache has 128kB and 256kB L2 cache.Bus runs on a 133MHz DDR (266MHz effective).Integrated thermal diode.
