System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, so all you need to do to listen is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often simply called speakers. They are designed for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
For speaker systems and home cinemas, the number of channels indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in an X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It specifies how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the system's surround sound experience and bass depth, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and higher).Specifications
