If you need a really good steam iron at a reasonable price, this is the right choice. The German company Braun is known for the reliability and quality of its products and this iron has the same technology as the professional version. Variable steam is sufficient at 0-40g / min and a steam boost performance of 140g / min is available as well. Vertical steam is also an option.
A specially anodised patented soleplate, which is twice as hard as stainless steel guarantees a long glide and protection against damage. The iron is complemented by modern systems like Anticalc anti-limescale and AntiDrip. This high-powered iron has an irrigation feature and is self-cleaning.
The type of steaming is a basic parameter that you should consider when choosing a clothes iron. Steaming helps to loosen the fibres of the fabric, which makes ironing easier and improves results. There are two basic types of steaming. The first type is horizontal steaming, where the steam is released horizontally. The second type is vertical steaming, where the steam is released vertically.

Steam output is a parameter that indicates the overall ability of the iron to generate steam during ironing. Steam output is usually expressed in grams per minute and depends on various factors such as the size of the water tank, the temperature of the ironing surface and the steam pressure. A higher steam output means that the iron can remove creases and wrinkles from fabrics faster and more efficiently. When choosing an iron, it's important to consider the steam output depending on your needs and the types of fabrics you regularly iron.
Steam impact is a property of an iron that refers to the amount of steam produced in a short time interval. This feature is useful when ironing creases or thick fabrics that require more steam to release wrinkles. The steam surge can be activated manually or automatically based on the iron settings and is usually expressed in grams per minute.
