What Makes the SSD So Popular?
The SSD brings a great boost in performance for all types of PCs. The key difference lies in their lack of any moving parts and a completely new data handling system. This translates to better durability and improved resistance to shocks and bumps. Another advantage of the SSD is quiet operation and greatly reduced power consumption. For some models, the manufacturer lists their lifespan in the so-called terabytes written (TBW). The Corsair MP600 CORE 1TB SSD features a TBW of 225 TBW.
