This 5.1-channel card offers advanced audio processing with the Sound Blaster Acoustic Engine and adds the intelligent communication features of the SmartComms Kit. Audio quality is demonstrated by high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 120 dB and support for 192 kHz/24-bit high-resolution audio processing. You can further enhance the capabilities of this card with the Sound Blaster Audigy Fx V2 DBPro module (sold separately). This will offer, for example, support for DSD64/128/256 playback, two extra channels for 7.1 channel audio and an optical output.
