The DeepCool SPARTACUS 420 water cooler is a closed-loop liquid system designed to dissipate heat from CPUs in computer builds. The cooling system uses an aluminium radiator with overall dimensions of 2.7 × 46.2 × 14cm and three 140mm fans. The system dissipates heat from CPUs on Intel and AMD platforms with a total thermal output of up to 350W. The closed-loop circuit includes an integrated display and an advanced software interface for real-time monitoring of system parameters without complex setup in the BIOS.
The block with its integrated 6th generation pump features a 3-phase, 6-slot, 4-pole motor that uses FOC control to regulate its operation. The pump speed ranges from 2500 to 3400rpm at 12V and 290mA. An extended copper base with microfins transfers heat from the processor's surface directly to the flowing coolant. The total power consumption of the pump itself is 3.48W, and the block's dimensions are 9.9 × 9.1 × 6.5cm.
Active cooling of the radiator is handled by three 140mm diameter, 30mm thick PWM fans. The components are made from a strong PPS material for increased structural stability at high speeds. HDB hydraulic bearings support smooth fan operation across a wide speed range from 500 to 2000rpm. Each fan consumes 4.2W at 12V, generates a static pressure of 4.15mmH2O, and produces an airflow of up to 112.5 CFM with a maximum noise level of 32.89dB(A).
On top of the water block is a built-in IPS display with a 3.4″ (8.64cm) screen size and a resolution of 480 × 480px. The panel displays system data and graphics with support for 16.7 million colours. The display cover is attached to the pump with a magnetic mechanism for easy removal.
The DeepCreative utility software monitors the processor's temperature, frequency, and current load in real time. The program coordinates the fan and pump speeds based on the measured values, without needing manual user intervention. If the processor temperature exceeds the critical threshold of 80°C, the system automatically switches the fans to full power for rapid heat dissipation. Once the temperature drops below this level, the speeds return to the previously set mode.
The cooler supports installation on processors with Intel LGA1700, LGA1851 and AMD AM4, AM5 sockets. The package includes a special offset bracket for LGA1851, which moves the cold plate closer to the processor's thermal centre, reducing temperatures by 1–3°C. Installation is simplified by the rear lock system. This makes it easier to secure the cooler without screws, which speeds up the entire assembly and leaves a clean look.
The liquid circuit is equipped with patented Anti-Leak technology, which increases operational safety. An internal valve automatically regulates and equalises the internal pressure with the surrounding atmospheric pressure, thereby preventing the risk of coolant leakage. The entire system is connected by 465mm long hoses leading to a 462mm long aluminium radiator. A single integrated 10-pin connector for both power and signal to the pump and display eliminates cable clutter.
