Our story begins at a time when life, at least as seventeen-year-old Van Arnett has known it, is about to change forever. Van is a passionate young man whose two main interests are his first love, a girl named Lydia, and his second love, an alien being named Nyx. However, his life is turned upside down after Earth is attacked by beings from the distant planet Elysium. Although their leader claims they have come to right the wrongs done to them by Earthlings, an alien girl named Nyx discovers that there is more to the story than meets the eye. With unprecedented bravery and wearing giant robot suits, a strange quintet of heroes embark on a fierce battle against a devastating force of alien conquerors. Elysium is an endless ride on the wildest roller coaster thanks to its perfectly crafted battle scenes. But the essence of the story is not only about a wild adventure full of insurmountable obstacles, but also about conquering one's own inner demons. And although our heroes are complete strangers to each other at the beginning of the story, as the story unfolds and culminates around them, a mutual trust, loyalty and friendship grows between them that is the real heart of the story.
