If you assemble your computer or you need to replace an up-to-date computer source, you're sure to think about what successor to use. It is not appropriate to underestimate this fact and it is important to focus on several parameters. The SFX Eurocase ECO + 85 computer source offers 250 watts of power and a typical efficiency of 85%. It is equipped with an 80mm fan whose speeds are controlled by thermoregulation. The source meets all standards and requirements for electrical safety, or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). In addition, it complies with Directive 2005/32/EU, which states that the power consumption in standby mode is not more than 0.5 W. Electrical circuits protect the power supply from overloading or output shorting.
Clearly specifies the maximum computing power performance in watts (W). The most common values include 400 W but some gaming computers have a 1000 W or more.
The physical dimensions of the source determine its next deployment. For classical computers there is the type ATX, but some miniature cases require a source with smaller dimensions (TFX).
This is a list of other functional equipment of the resource. Desired parameters are primarily detachable cables, thermal fan speed control or completely passive cooling.
Each motherboard needs to be powered directly from the source. This item specifies the exact type of used connectors. The most common combination is ATX 24-pin ATX + 4-pin.
