Pôvodne som mal 2x 4GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Beast 1866MHz (KHX18C9T3K2/8X) fungujú tak na profile XMP1-1866 ako aj na profile XMP2-1600. Podarilo sa mi dokúpiť ďaľší kit presne takých istých pamäťových modulov. Typové označenie (KHX18C9T3K2/8X) sa zhoduje. Problém je v tom, že kým hociktoré dva moduly idú na XMP1-1866 MHz, všetky štyri naraz už neidu len na XMP2-1600MHz. Prečo je to tak?
Nepoviem, že mám skúsenosti extrémne veľkým počtom Pc-čka ale stretol som sa už so zopár základnými doskami a nikde inde som sa nestretol len pri tejto doske s javom takým, že PC pri obyčajnom reštarte sa úplne vypne -to znamená, že sa vypnú všetky ventilátory aj HDD a aj všetky ledky - a potom sa samo zapne. Viem, že v BIOS-e ak prestavím niečo a uložím zmenu tak to zvyčajne robievajú základné dosky, že na chvíľu sa vypnú a potom sa zapnú ale pri obyčajnom reštarte z windowsu to nezvykli robiť. Je to chyba len tej mojej dosky alebo to robievajú aj ostatné 970-Gaming dosky?
