MARIMEX Stop algae 3 l
MARIMEX pool chemistry is used to prevent the growth of algae, which can get used to chlorine within a few days. The product has both preventive and elimination effects, kills most common algae found in swimming pools, has bacteriostatic effects against some pathogenic bacterial strains and is compatible with chlorine and chlorine-free products used for water disinfection. Algae spores are constantly transported into the pool by dust, wind and rain. They develop rapidly by exposure to sunlight and warm water. By the time the algae is visible, millions of them have developed in every litre of water. The bottom and walls of the pool are slippery, oily and the water stinks. Instructions for use:
The product is dispensed into the pool when the filtration device is switched on. The initial dose is applied after the first filling of the pool at the beginning of the swimming season. The maintenance dose is applied once every 5-8 days. If there is visible algae growth, it is recommended to apply Start or Chlorine Shock. In hot weather or when the pool is used intensively, a maintenance dose is added at shorter intervals.
Dosing:
Used alone, the product has proven algicidal effects at a dosage of 100 ml/m3 of water every 5-8 days. When combined with recommended chlorine and non-chlorine products, the initial dose is used: 30 ml per 1 m³ (1 000 l) of water and a maintenance dose: 10 ml per 1 m³ (1 000 l) of water. With an overdose, there will be increased foaming of water.
