The E-flite model is based on the F-14D Super Tomcat variant and its factory-applied livery pays homage to the 2nd Attack Fighter Squadron (VFA-2), also known as the famous "Bounty Hunters". The F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF faithfully replicates the VF-2 fighter, including functional interchangeable arrow wings and fully movable tail surfaces, providing an authentic and unique flight experience. The practical scale makes the model more accessible to a wider range of pilots and also more affordable as it is compatible with common 4S 2200mAh batteries. Fully assembled model with advanced electronics

Many modelers have always wanted to fly the legendary F-14 fighter - and now a model with a pair of 40mm blowers makes it possible. The aircraft will arrive fully assembled and almost ready to fly immediately after unpacking. It features a receiver with advanced stabilization and the ability to activate flight assistance functions for easier control. Just pair it with a DSMX/DSM2-enabled transmitter with at least 6 channels. Using a compatible radio, real-time data such as battery voltage, current or engine speed can be monitored.

Realistic model of F-14 fighter with 40mm blowers

The twin 40mm blowers and powerful brushless motors are designed for common 4-cell LiPo batteries (4S 2200mAh 30C and above), making the model offer an excellent power to flight time ratio. The control of the model is enhanced by fully movable elevators and wings with adjustable arrow in three positions, which ensures realistic and dynamic flight. The durable and lightweight fuselage made of molded EPO foam features a finished colour scheme inspired by real military aircraft. The model can be operated with fixed landing gear and steerable nose wheel on smooth surfaces, or without landing gear for manual take-off and landing on grass, for example.

Bind-N-Fly (BNF) models allow you to get airborne quickly and with maximum comfort. They come out of the box already equipped with the drive unit, servos and Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver. So just pair the receiver with a compatible transmitter, complete any minor setup - and you're ready to fly.

Exclusive technology

The first F-14 Tomcat equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. The AS3X works in the background to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, giving the impression of a "locked" flight like a larger, more precisely tuned aircraft. SAFE Select offers optional flight envelope protection - limits pitch and climb/descent angles and adds automatic flight leveling. The function can be easily switched on or off with a switch.

Telemetry capabilities

The F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF model includes a control unit with receiver and controllers that provide real-time telemetry - engine speed, current, battery voltage and more. Data is available in flight on compatible Spektrum AirWare transmitters (e.g. DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, NX8, NX10, iX12, iX20 and others).

Powerful EDF drives, chassis and unique colouring

Factory installed AC motors with external rotor and 40mm blowers provide high performance. The entire dual motor assembly is optimized for common 4 cell LiPo batteries (4S 2200mAh 30C and above). The model can be operated with a fixed landing gear and steerable nose wheel for taxiing, take-off and landing on level ground. Alternatively, the landing gear can be removed and a manual take-off can be used - for higher speed and climbability - and landing on grass, for example. The entire model is made of fully moulded EPO foam, which allows the detailed shapes to be preserved and is both lightweight and durable. The result is great scale appearance and easy maintenance along with excellent flight characteristics. The factory-applied paint and decals pay homage to the US Navy's VF-2 "Bounty Hunters" squadron. This will make your model look attractive on the ground and in the air.

SAFE technology

The Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX receiver with AS3X technology that stabilizes flight in real time and eliminates wind effects, so flight is as smooth and precise as the larger model. If this is your first model of this type or you want to give yourself a greater degree of confidence when learning, you can activate SAFE Select, an optional flight envelope protection technology integrated in the receiver. No programming is required. SAFE Select provides roll and pitch/roll limitations - the aircraft will not automatically roll or dive into extreme angles. Automatic flight leveling: after releasing the control levers, the model will level itself to horizontal flight - ideal for take-off, landing or as a rescue. Easy switch assignment: activation/deactivation of SAFE Select is done by assigning a switch (e.g. switch A on channel 5 - Gear), without the need for complicated programming.
