The principle of the party game Codenames: Disney is the same as the standard Codenames game. The game begins with the formation of two teams. Each team consists of one prompter and one or more sackers. The board consists of either 16 or 25 cards. The hint connects pictures or words according to the key card for the best hint. The guessers guess and cover the correctly revealed cards with tiles in their team's colours. Teams are taking turns on the move. The first team to reveal all their cards wins. In the more advanced 25-card variant, pay attention to the end bell box; whoever marks this card ends the game for the entire team immediately.
