Key Features
- Desktop processor in a notebook body
- Generous RAM capacity ensures smooth multitasking
- Ultimate graphics performance
- Cutting-edge IPS display with Full HD resolution
- Fast SSD drive coupled with classic HDD
- NVIDIA G-Sync for even smoother gaming
Unprecedented technological peak
The notebook is powered by an Intel Core i7 6700K Skylake processor with unparalleled performance. Its 4 GHz base clock speed can reach 4.2 GHz, further boosted by Hyper-Threading technology. The graphics are handled by a beefy NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics chip, though the Sky X9 comes with a free MXM slot, enabling you to add another card in SLI mode. The notebook's elegantly futuristic chassis hides a fast 256 GB SSD and a classic 1TB HDD for all your multimedia files.
Top-notch audiovisual experience
A 17.3" Full HD matte display with IPS technology and G-Sync support provides maximum visual experience in vivid and authentic colours. The display is backed by a cutting-edge graphics card, which guarantees that the notebook has enough power to run the most demanding games in ultra high detail. Another nice feature is its backlit keyboard that makes using the laptop considerably easier, especially at night.
Desktop powerhouse in action
A machine this powerful needs a top-notch cooling solution. The cooling system is based on blocks with heatpipes that dissipate heat from the hottest components. Running a demanding game means that the fan has to switch into a more active mode, but its murmur is reliably muted by the notebook’s quality ONKYO speakers with a subwoofer. At full load, the Eurocom Sky X9 can run for about 60 minutes.
