An additional Low Profile card controller providing a serial port (COM). This is an extension that you connect to an internal USB port. This card can then be connected to a serial port device. The transfer indicators (Tx and Rx) are on the board.
The card complies with the EU RoHS directive on the ban of the use of hazardous substances in electrotechnical products, making it much more environmentally friendly.
