Dominik Landsman, author of the popular Diaries of a Modern Dad, has already explained to us that maternity leave is no holiday. A real holiday is a trip to the sea in Bulgaria, as the other half of the couple, Dominik's wife Natasha, described it to us. Now the most important one - the son Čeněk - comes into the picture. He is the only member of the family who has at least a little time at the cottage, because everyone else is busy playing golf, harvesting the neighbor's crops, or working with duct tape. And he does not hesitate to share the results of his focused and completely objective observation with us.

The author graduated from the Brno University of Technology with a degree in corporate finance and subsequently worked as a real estate broker. He was looking for a new job at the time he was fired from his job, but when he finally started, he quit after a fortnight on his own. So he decided to stay on maternity leave instead of his wife, whose son was born about a month before his termination. He decided to share his experiences from his maternity leave with others, and since he tried writing fairy tales and short stories as a child, he decided to write a book. First, he started his own blog, where he humorously, insightfully and cynically described the days he spent with his young son. After the overwhelming success on the blog, he published his posts in book form, with equally great success: Diary of a Modern Dad or Why Men Shouldn't Have Children, Diary of a Modern Dad 2 - or God Reciprocated with Children. Dominik Landsman is currently publishing his contributions in magazines and on the Internet, working on books of a different focus and pursuing his hobby - fishing.
