Bridgerton: The Duke and I
When a fake courtship turns into real love
Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, has devised a plan to rid himself of all the matchmakers and marriage-minded young ladies of the ton. He feigns affection for the charming Daphne Bridgerton, his friend's younger sister, striking a deal with her to pretend to court her. Although he has no intention of marrying, there's something about the girl that makes his heart beat faster.
Daphne soon forgets that their courtship is just a pretence. Over time, she finds herself truly falling in love with the spirited nobleman. But she must, at all costs, prevent the handsome duke, who has sworn to remain a bachelor forever, from breaking her heart. You can now follow the fortunes of the main characters in the spectacularly lavish and utterly addictive series Bridgerton, airing on Netflix.
