The Devil' s Herd is a community of artists across professions who share similar aesthetics.
At the beginning of summer 2012, they went to the Orlické Mountains to a log cabin, where during the stormy storms, power outages and in the moonlight they recorded an album of old mysterious stories.
led by bard Wabi Daňek and guest musician and singer Radůza.
During the summer, they moved from the cabin to Prague, where the singer Aneta Langerová joined them. The devil' s herd thus captured the unique Czech phenomenon, tramping, and conceived it in its own way. At the same time, raw, naturally.
Old tramp songs are not just about cowboys and a campfire, but above all about human stories, lust, guilt, punishment and hide the ideals and hardships of ordinary life.
Thanks to the diversity of artists, not only an album was created, but also art photographs, documentaries, clips and visuals.
The meeting of Wabi and the Devil' s Herd, as the name of a group of excellent players assembled only for this occasion, with genre experiences, but also stylistically very different, brings a tightly cohesive collection of songs that have appealed to many generations. In recordings that sound completely current and at the same time they have not lost any of their original romantic character.
