Groundhog Day
Waxman the Immortal, Waxman the Cruel, Waxman the Terrible and Waxman the Pensioner. These are the four nicknames of the most villainous hero of all time, whose evil deeds have now fallen into your hands in this collection of short stories. Who is Waxman? What do we know about him? Does he like milk? This book, which has it all—love and adventure, suspense and romance, blood and sperm—will answer these and other unsettling questions. Michael Starling is a leading American writer of science fiction, fiction and non-fiction, a winner of three Hearst literary awards and two Hubula awards. In his youth, he represented the USA in baseball, basketball and swimming. He holds the military rank of Brig. General (ret.), having fought with the Marines in Korea, Vietnam and both Gulf Wars. He is a member of the boards of directors of many large American companies. He lives in Beverly Hills, California, with his third wife, four children and his own seaplane. His Czech translator, Michal Špaček (1971), is a talented short story writer with a sense of irony and hyperbole.
