The good pigeons are back
A gritty, tragicomic tale of alcohol addiction and the road to recovery, set in an alcohol rehab facility.
The main character, Lexa, is trying to kick his alcohol addiction. A college dropout, making a living as a stoker, voluntarily submits to treatment. In the treatment room, he listens to many problems of other patients. They discover the ability to write and draw lessons from their stories.
The novel by the doctor Ladislav Pecháček was also successfully translated to the screen starring Milan Kňázek. Ladislav Pecháček became famous in particular for his successful hexalogies How the World Loses Its Poets (based on the prose Amateurs), How Poets Lose Their Illusions, How Poets Taste Life, The End of Poets in Bohemia, How Poets Don't Lose Hope and How Poets Wait for a Miracle.
AudioStory presents an audiobook in the charismatic style of Kajetán Pisarovic.
