A collection of all albums released by the legendary The Doors before Jim Morrison's death, this collection includes versions of songs from the 40th Anniversary releases remastered by Bruce Botnik, original paperback versions.
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles. It was one of the most important groups of the 1960s.
The founding members of The Doors were: keyboardist Ray Manzarek and vocalist Jim Morrison, eventually joined by guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore.
The Doors' first album was released in January 1967 under the simple title The Doors. It included one of the band's best-known songs, "Light My Fire", which was also released as a single. After the success of the album, Strange Days was released in the autumn of the same year, with the singles "People Are Strange" and "Love Me Two Times".
The Doors recorded one album every year thereafter. The last one that was made with Morrison was L. A. Woman from 1971.
