Jan Thomayer
Jan Thomayer is a lawyer and an avid collector of true crime literature. In 2009, he founded the website www.serialkillers.cz, which has become a popular and respected source of information on the phenomenon of serial and mass murderers. The site publishes in-depth articles on crime cases, while building an extensive database of films and books inspired by real crimes. In 2022, he was the founder of www.krimiantik.cz, the first online antiquarian bookstore dedicated exclusively to books in the true crime genre. His approach combines research passion, attention to detail and responsible treatment of the subject, contributing to a better understanding of crime in a non-bullying, informative context.
Milan Říský
Milan Říský has worked for several years as a journalist, concert photographer and head of the PR and marketing department at the Pilsen Region Study and Research Library. His career has long been devoted to the phenomenon of crime and its impact on society. He is behind the true crime series Plzeňské zločiny (Pilsen Crimes), during which Pilsen criminologists presented to the public crucial cases of their careers and thanks to which the books Skutečné zločiny na Plzeňsku 1 a 2 (True Crimes in Pilsen) were published.
