Ghosts at Devín Castle

In the seventh book about Černý Rogan and the wolf Goryvlad, the author of historical and fantasy novels, Juraj Červenák, returns to the world of Slavic myths and once again offers readers an adventure in the style of “sword and sorcery”.

Prince Lučivoj, who snatched Devín from the Avars’ clutches, has no male heir. This significant hillfort on the border of the Principality of Nitra and the Principality of Moravia will be inherited by whoever marries Lučivoj’s daughter. However, her hand must be earned, and the suitors face a dangerous task – they must defeat the mysterious phantoms in the forests above Devín. If Prince Pribina wants to triumph over the demons and his rival Mojmír, he will need help. He therefore summons the warlock Rogan and his loyal guide Goryvlad from Kančí Hora (Boar Mountain). However, it quickly becomes clear that they are facing a much greater threat than they initially thought.
