After the tragic death of her parents, Alexandra loses her home and her sense of security. Trying to get back on her feet, she works nights at a supermarket where she meets Dalibor—an older man who offers her comfort, security, and a chance to forget for a while. But the safe haven she found with him gradually begins to crumble. Alex descends into a relationship full of manipulation, alcohol, and violence, from which it is not easy to escape. When she finds out she is pregnant, she decides to fight, this time at any cost. But sometimes it only takes a single moment to turn a whole life upside down. How much pain can a person endure before they stop believing they deserve something better? And how long can a hummingbird beat its wings before it falls to the ground, exhausted?
