While fishing for lobsters, local fishermen discover the body of little Sara, the daughter of Erica's friend Charlotte, who moved here only a few months ago, in the sea off Fjällbacka.

At first, everyone thinks it's a tragic accident. However, the autopsy proves otherwise - the pathologist finds fresh water with soap residue in little Sarah's lungs. This clearly shows that someone drowned the girl in the bathtub before throwing her body into the sea. But who could want to hurt seven-year-old Sarah so badly? And why is that?

Erika Falck and Patrik Hedström are here again. They are searching for a paedophile who drowned a little girl and then threw her body into the sea.
