Last station Hamburg
The audiobook Last Station Hamburg by Martin Vopěnky is read by Filip Švarc. Marek finds himself in the middle of a deep personal crisis. He lives in a cold marriage and his work as a bitcoin broker is not internally satisfying. In addition, guilt has accompanied him since childhood. It's as if fate hadn't favoured him: His mentally ill mother committed suicide when he was thirteen and he had to face cancer in his twenties. He starts toying with the idea of killing someone. Just like that - out of a compulsive need to be indelibly guilty once and for all. But then he meets a classmate from elementary school, Černák, a class thug whom he was afraid of as a child, but at the same time there was a magical attraction between them. The wealthy Cernak produces porn in Hamburg and owns brothels. And Mark goes there to see him. It's a dark world of the underworld, and yet it's where Mark stumbles upon his destined love. Only she's Chernak's girl. How will the love triangle between a porn actress, a Hamburg underworld boss and the lovelorn Mark, who has burned all the bridges behind him, turn out?
