Last summer
A provocatively cheeky confession by a young girl about the complicated time of growing up. Forbidden love, defining oneself against teachers and parents, dreams and hopes that inevitably clash with reality. How to grow and find your own way when those from whom you expect an answer are not honest with you? In an energetic and linguistically sovereign diary-like narrative, the author gives a glimpse into the inner transformation of the artistically gifted Hana in the turbulent period between her fifteenth and nineteenth years, a time of great change and a search for self, and makes the eternally topical Lolita motif of the relationship between a mature man and a girl on the verge of adulthood.
"Return to the turbulent period of adolescence"
