Funerals are usually sombre affairs. But for the Raven family, the death of the embittered patriarch Isaiah is more of a relief—especially when it comes to their financial problems. The aloof old man had amassed a fortune over his lifetime, one that many would be willing to kill for, and the only condition to inherit it is to spend a night at a remote estate high in the Krkonoše Mountains.
And so, Isaiah's relatives begin to converge on Rabenštejn Castle from near and far, and you can probably imagine how smoothly such a gathering goes. And that's even before night falls and the first of them dies in an inexplicable (and inexplicably bloody) way. Then another. And another and another.
While everyone tries to save their own skin, Agáta, the adopted daughter of Isaiah's niece, tries to find out who is behind the murders. Is it one of those present, or do they all have solid alibis and there's someone... or something... else at the castle with the Ravens?
And Then There Were None through the lens of Guillermo del Toro. The nightmares will haunt you long after you've finished reading!
