Love will be our death
Marriage is complicated at the best of times. But what happens when one of you is dead…?
Vincent Banecroft, the irascible editor of The Stranger Times, doesn't believe his wife died, despite the convincing evidence. As unlikely as it seems, he might just be right – but what will he have to go through to save her?
Further chaos has been brought to the newsroom by the unexpected resignation of Deputy Editor Hannah Willis. Her decision to return to her philandering husband is slightly less surprising than Vincent's reunion with his wife. But can her escape to a luxury resort built around a celebrity cult help anyone in this critical situation?
As if that wasn't enough, one of the weekly's former columnists has disappeared – a truly remarkable feat given that he never actually existed.
Into this cocktail, mix floating statues, kidnapped ghosts, cherubs with murderous tendencies, enraged starlings, a classic British Reliant Robin, and maybe even a few truly twisted conspiracies. What could possibly come of it? Just another ordinary week at The Stranger Times office.
