Vicky is the wife of a British Member of Parliament. After her children have left home, she longs to write novels and stop being a housewife supporting her husband. Matilda is recovering from the death of her beloved husband, and upon arriving in the south of France, she remembers how it was their dream to spend their later years there. Chelsea is a young entrepreneur who has recently gone through a break-up and soon discovers she has also lost her company because of her business partner. They all come together thanks to the generosity of Amy, the villa's owner, who is repaying a good deed of her late aunt with the holiday invitation.
Over ten days, they become good friends, and their destinies gradually become more and more intertwined. They all need to solve their own problems and find time for themselves to figure out what they want to do in the future. And the magical retreat on the Riviera is the perfect place for it.
