ROBINSON Primarily an author of techno-thrillers and sci-fi novels, he was born in Chicago. During World War II, he enlisted in the Navy, and after the war, he completed a university degree in physics. He re-enlisted in the Navy and served in Korea. From 1973, he dedicated himself fully to his literary work. He co-authored some of his books with Thomas N. Scortia. THOMAS N. SCORTIA Thomas Nicholas Scortia was a physical chemist and aerospace researcher by profession and, in addition to the five novels he wrote with Robinson, he is the author of six other books. Together with Frank Robinson, they published The Glass Inferno in 1974, The Prometheus Crisis in 1975, and The Nightmare Factor in 1979. 1981 The Gold Crew, and in 1987 Blow-out. MARTIN STRÁNSKÝ Martin Stránský began his career at the Horácké Theatre in Jihlava. In 1993, he secured a permanent position at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the drama company with dozens of comedic and dramatic roles to his name. In 2004, he guest-starred at the National Theatre in Brno in a stage adaptation of Christopher Hampton's novel Dangerous Liaisons, playing Valmont. In 2008, he appeared as Iago in Othello at the Summer Shakespeare Festival. He has guest-starred at Prague's Divadlo pod Palmovkou and, in addition to his theatre and film work, his voice has made him highly acclaimed in dubbing and as an audiobook narrator.
