Piranesi

This original fantasy story by the bestselling author of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell is accompanied by music by Vladivojna La Chia.

When you live in a labyrinth and are kept company by silent statues, you eventually begin to doubt your own sanity.

The strange House with hundreds of halls, whose foundations are washed by the waves of the sea and under whose roof the clouds float, represented for the man called Piranesi a whole world inhabited only by the dead and the Other. However, with the arrival of unexpected visitors, a number of pressing questions will one day arise concerning, among other things, the protagonist's true identity, the true nature of his relationship with the Other and, last but not least, the possible existence of other worlds beyond the confines of the House. So Piranesi begins to piece together the various scraps of information available, many of which are hidden in his own diaries - but he doesn't remember having jotted them down! Finding the desired answers, however, proves to be as difficult as leaving this labyrinth.
