Listening course Polish for Intermediate B1 - Part 1.
Thank you for your interest in the Polish for Intermediate B1 - Part 1 listening course. The course is designed for intermediate to advanced learners, so to get the most out of it you should have had one to two years of Polish and have mastered the basics.
The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will learn not only words, but also sentences in which you can use the words. In this course you will find a total of 2000 vocabulary words and practice sentences. The individual lessons are divided by topic, each containing a different number of words and sentences.
Level B1 is the intermediate level, where you will be able to master topics such as activities, housing, travel, the day, Food, communications and the city.
What is the best way to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, for each lesson, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (clues 1 and 2). Next, you have a vocabulary word followed by an example sentence, again in both translation variants (track 3 and 4). Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). As soon as you can translate the sentences from English into Polish (lesson 6) in the pause before the Polish translation, you have won. The words alone will help you to understand the meaning, but you will communicate much better with whole sentences.
For each block, that once you have mastered listening from Polish to English (Lesson 1, 3, 5 - listen to the exercises) you move on to the translation from English to Polish (lessons 2,4,6 - translate the exercises).

You'll find a learning guide along with useful tips, how to make teaching more effective, curriculum, in which you can record your progress, a playlist to listen to (in case you don't understand something), but also double-sided cards, so you can learn and repeat even then, when you just can't listen. For those who like to test themselves, there is a translation test in each lesson with a key containing the correct answers.
