SANANIM - They have healed and they want to be good moms!

SANANIM clients want to become great moms. They are willing to do the maximum for their children. But like any mom, they sometimes doubt themselves. However, their doubts are much greater as a result of their past addiction. It is leisure activities that make it possible to take on the role of a parent and feel safe in it, to find joy and enrichment in it. They help reassure clients that they can do something extra for their child, not just feed him and dress him cleanly. Each new shared experience deepens and strengthens the relationship between mother and child. Thanks to joint activities, mothers gain more parental self-confidence, are more independent and stop worrying about the world behind the walls of the medical facility.
In addition to professional therapeutic services, this aftercare center also pays great attention to leisure activities for mothers with children. However, they have to raise funds for them themselves, because the costs of their implementation cannot be covered from current subsidies and the situation of clients in the period shortly after treatment does not allow their financing.

Martina: I would like to thank you for the opportunity to stay in the mountains that you offered me and my four-year-old daughter. It was our first trip together to Prague. We really enjoyed it. Spending time with other mothers and children gave me more confidence in my future steps in raising my daughter.

Kamila: Thank you for allowing us to be outside the environment with the children for a week, which “like it or not“ still reminds us of our mistakes. I was in the mountains with my daughter, who is two years old, it was our first holiday together. We spent time there together, which was just ours. My daughter took away experiences she would not otherwise have during my lifetime. Thanks again for this opportunity.

SANANIM z. at. is a non-profit organization providing assistance to people at risk of addiction in a network of programs and services that form a comprehensive system of prevention, treatment and resocialization.

SANANIM has been one of the key non-state providers of services in the field of addiction treatment, especially for non-alcoholic drugs, since 1990. In recent years, however, it has also provided services as part of special programs for the treatment of other types of addictions - alcohol, gambling and betting or online games. It currently operates sixteen main facilities, forming a comprehensive and comprehensive system of prevention, care, treatment and resocialization. Their many years of experience clearly show that addiction treatment works. They believe in the possibility of recovery and adapt the treatment procedures and the process of resocialization of clients in order to return them to normal life.
