Skandar and spiritual warfare
The thrilling conclusion to a hugely successful series is finally here!
The island is at war. During the Chaos Cup race, a secret was revealed that changed everything from the ground up. Skandar has become an outlaw and is on the run. The islanders don't know who to trust. One of Skandar's closest friends is now fighting on the side of the enemy and Skandar is forced to make new alliances, including an uneasy truce with Kenna.
If Skandar and his friends want to defeat Rex, they must return to the island's origins and harness the full power of elemental magic. Can Skandar become the leader he needs to be to save the mainland and the heart of the island itself?
For readers aged ten and up.
They wrote about the book:
The main character Skandar is a good guy in every way and it's easy to experience the story along with him. His friends are also interesting and bring their own problems to the story that he has to deal with. And, of course, there are contradictory and tricky characters whose motives slowly surface in the later books.
- Children of the Night about the entire Chronicles of Chaos series
The story of bloodthirsty unicorns that can tear you apart if they don't like you is not exactly the kind of fairy tale you'd read before bed. But that makes it all the more exciting for teenage readers. Who wouldn't want to have their own unicorn, learn to fly and cast spells in a joust?

(born. 1992) grew up in the English countryside, where she dreamed of fantastic worlds and scribbled stories in her notebook. She worked in the judiciary before taking up writing, but after a while she realised that there wasn't nearly enough magic there. Skandar and the Unicorn Thief (Czech: 2022) is her debut, followed by the sequels Skandar and the Phantom Rider (Czech: 2023), Skandar and the Chaos Contests (Czech: 2024), Skandar and the Bone Curse (Czech: 2025) and now the last part Skandar and the Spiritual War.
