Sex Murder Panopticon #5
A schoolboy longed to be initiated into the mysteries of sex play by an adult woman. He did not win her favour the easy way, he put on leather gloves and did not forget to arm himself with a knife... The "date" ended in a double murder...
The finale of a unique and extraordinarily extensive project charting the history of domestic sex murder. The previous installment, The Evil Spirit, received a 98 percent success rate from satisfied readers: "Again, an absolutely excellent book. Anyone interested in criminalistics cannot be disappointed," we read in the electronic database of books.
The fifth installment of the much sought-after Panopticon covers crimes from 1974 to 2017. The framework of thirteen cases is filled with both archival cases, still captivating criminal and forensic experts with their dimension of bestiality and often unexpected, but not relieving, resolution, and more recent ones.
Modern Causes, dated from 2010, ...are the pace of the times, In addition to DNA analysis, the use of mobile phones as an "electronic fingerprint" contributes to the capture and conviction of the perpetrator, credit cards, including, of course, CCTV footage. Bloody crimes often have their overture on the internet, sometimes in rap rhythm, sometimes in hardcore style... The dark souls, the dark joys of predators, however, remain virtually identical across the decades.
In addition to an analysis of the crime, a description of the perpetrator's motives, as well as a summary of key expert opinions from the fields of psychiatry, sexology and psychology, the author also discusses the operational work of the criminal investigators in the field and the comments of the representatives of the mortuary.
Capturing the hardest possible crime in all its forms - the final book of Panopticon copes with this perfectly!
