Sarah Pekkanen originally worked as an investigative journalist and columnist. She is the author of several internationally bestselling novels. Her thrillers written with her former publisher, Greer Hendricks, have been published in Czech, namely The Wife Between Us, An Anonymous Girl, and The Golden Couple. In her spare time, Sarah is involved in animal rescue as an ambassador for RRSA India, where she primarily focuses on vaccinating and treating stray dogs. She is also a member of a horse rescue organisation in Maryland that helps abused horses heal their bruised bodies and souls. She is the mother of three sons and lives near Washington, D.C.
