Michele Campbell
After studying law at Harvard and Stanford, Michele Campbell served as a federal prosecutor in New York City, where she specialized in international organized crime and gang cases. After a time, she decided to end her successful career in the world's capital and moved with her husband and two children to an idyllic New England college town that looks a lot like Belle River from her novel It's Always the Husband. He currently teaches criminal and constitutional law and writes books. He has five of them so far: It's always the husband, She was a quiet girl, Stranger on the beach, Woman, who knew too much and played cat and mouse, which has won the hearts of readers on both sides of the Atlantic. She has many good girlfriends, a few enemies, and only one husband who, as far as she knows, has never sought her life.
