The writer and Prague native Franz Kafka is one of the most influential literary figures of the last century. Although one hundred years have passed since his death, interest in his works has not waned. Kafka's novels and short stories still have something to say to the world, which is why this publication is being released on the occasion of the centenary, as a tribute to the famous writer. The anthology of short stories, The Metamorphoses of Kafka's Prague, brings together twelve chapters from contemporary Czech authors across various genres. These are stories thematically linked to Prague, in which the reader will find themselves in the past as well as the present, but will also get a glimpse into the science-fiction worlds of the future. Will it always be obvious? Perhaps not. After all, that is also part of Franz Kafka. We might even meet him directly in one of the stories. Or will we only meet Mr K.?
The following authors contributed to the anthology:
Marek Epstein, Veronika Fiedlerová, Pavel Fritz, Karolína Meixnerová, Michaela Merglová, Ondřej Neff, Markéta Pilátová, Ilona Podivínská, Mirka Rezlerová, Jaroslav Rudiš, Kristýna Sněgoňová, Miloš Urban.
