The Kingdom of the Pitcher
Shadows of Džbán Castle: The Secret of the Resistance Against the King
The year is 1310, and John of Luxembourg, husband of Elisabeth of Bohemia, has come to Bohemia to claim the Czech throne, which is still occupied by the incompetent and unpopular Henry of Carinthia. However, the mighty Džbán Castle and its brave garrison unexpectedly stand in his way. Brother Kryštof, a friar, and the knight Blahota of Lítožnice, who find themselves at Džbán by chance, must resist an overwhelmingly superior enemy. But who is a friend and who is a foe? Seven centuries later, the secret of these dramatic events is uncovered by a young archaeologist, Julie, as she tries to find out what really happened at Džbán Castle all those years ago...
