THE LOST GATE

Suspenseful action detective thriller

Full of forbidden secrets, conspiracy theories and surprising twists, the story is loosely based on the successful The Devil's Deception. Dr Runa, an expert on secret sects, a connoisseur of hermetic symbols and black magic, together with Inspector Sumara and Inspector Šímová solve a new mysterious case in which they find themselves in the danger zone.

A mysterious monster is on the rampage in the tangled underground of the Old Town. His victims have strange scratches on their bodies. All of the assaults occurred near the Rotunda of the Holy Cross. According to legend, a similar creature attacked the same spot as early as the beginning of the 15th century. Is the perpetrator trying to emulate a serial killer from the past, or is the mysterious evil returning? And why are more people dying? Is their violent deaths related to the Voynich manuscript they were trying to decipher? Is there a terrible secret hidden in the pages of this most mysterious book in the world? Is there a map of the mystical Sat Bhai Brotherhood, depicting the most secret place of the invisible Prague?
