The mysterious Mr. Quin

Short stories for lovers of good endings. Agatha Christie introduces a new character in her short stories - the mysterious Mr Harley Quin, who appears when there is a crime to solve that has gone unsolved for years and is complicating other people's lives. The short story collection The Mysterious Mr Quin is a slightly different Agatha Christie than the one we know. The short stories have a common denominator - each involves a crime that greatly complicates the lives of English gentlemen and ladies. Often many years have passed since the commission of a crime that at first sight seems unsolvable. Suddenly, however, Mr. Quin appears, asks the right questions of the persons involved, and the murderer or swindler is exposed in no time. As quickly as Mr. Quin came, he leaves, and only a very careful reader will notice that by solving the crime he has improved the life of someone on whom the shadow of suspicion had been falling for years. Mr. Harley Quin, Agatha Christie's most mysterious character, is simply a gentleman!
