And some serve others. Rebeka has always wanted to help people, and her innate ability to see others' demons and read minds predestined her for it. A native of Pilsen, she was knighted three times as the Lady of the Order of Fantasy in the competition for the Best Fantasy and became the victorious wielder of the sword in the final year. In addition to collections from literary competitions such as Mercenaries of Fantasy or the Karel Čapek Prize, her short stories have also appeared in the anthologies Young Witches (2017), The Newt (2017), Tracks of Death (2018), In the Shadow of Magic (2019), Beauties and Aliens: Pulp Stories (2021) and Lockdown (2021). Although she has already tried various genres, she most enjoys returning to classic sword and sorcery fantasy. She made her book debut in 2019 with the successful heroic fantasy A Song of Steel and just a year later she introduced readers to a rough, dirty harbour in the novel The Cursed Tower (2020). Her debut eventually received a sequel titled A Song of the North (2021). In addition to writing, she works as a reviewer for Pevnost magazine, lives in Prague and works in advertising. And when she's fed up with everything, she stands on her head in yoga.
