The Widows in Yellow Dresses
When young widow Éilis Lawlor vanishes in the middle of the night while her two small children are sleeping, Detective Lottie Parker is put on high alert. Éilis was left to raise her children alone after the tragic death of her husband, and when Lottie finds her house keys and phone, she begins to fear for the mother’s safety. Her worst fears are confirmed when the missing woman is found dead, wrapped in a yellow dress with her mouth taped shut. Determined to find who is behind this brutal crime, Lottie discovers that Éilis was a member of a support group for widows. Then the body of Jennifer, another member of the group, is found, also wrapped in a yellow dress. Delving into her past, Lottie learns that she led a reclusive life after her husband's death. She hadn't been to work in months and had shut herself away in her home, only leaving for the group meetings. But when Lottie questions the other women, they claim to know nothing. However, Lottie is convinced that the remaining widows are hiding something disturbing...
