Untamed Alaska
A city girl comes to Alaska to see her estranged father and unexpectedly meets a rugged pilot who turns her world upside down
When Calla was two years old, she moved to Toronto with her mother, who couldn't get used to the way of life in Alaska. Calla hasn't seen her father since. Now, at twenty-six, she lives a typical big-city life. One day, a friend of her father's contacts her to tell her that he is seriously ill. Calla decides to return to her hometown after all these years.
She embarks on a journey that will be eye-opening in many ways – in Alaska, she discovers a completely different life from the one she was used to. A life that is very simple in its own way, but definitely not easy.
Jonah, a talented bush pilot and her father's right-hand man, can't imagine moving away from Alaska. He doesn't have a high opinion of Calla, the girl from the city. He is convinced she is so spoiled and pampered by comfort that she won't be able to cope with life in the wilderness. Yet, despite their initial dislike for each other, a friendship gradually blossoms between them. Or could it be something deeper?
