During her long-term stays in Spain (1998-2003) and Latin American countries (Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela) she gained a wealth of experience in both colloquial and professional Spanish. She collected a huge amount of material, which she used in the preparation of various textbooks (see O. Macíková, L. Miller: Business Spanish, Volumes 1 and 2 of the Computer Press Textbook of Contemporary Spanish). She is also a co-author of specialized dictionaries and scripts of the University of Economics. PhDr. Ludmila Mlýnková teaches Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Economics in Prague. She is co-author of many textbooks focused on general and specialized language (J. Jindrová, L. Mlýnková, E. Schalk: Portuguese; O. Macíková, L. Miller: Business Spanish. Volumes 1 and 2 of the Textbook of Contemporary Spanish). She is the author and co-author of the scripts of the University of Economics and is also a translator.
Practice Book The textbook introduces the intricacies of Spanish grammar in a detailed and easy-to-understand manner. The book is tailored to the Czech user and its main goal is to clearly and in detail explain the laws of Spanish grammar, including such phenomena that are not given much attention or are completely neglected by Spanish and existing Czech grammars.
The grammar will serve students of all levels of proficiency (from A1 to C2), as the explanation is clearly designed and the accompanying exercises are structured from the simplest to the most complex. The explanatory part is divided into three sections: - pronunciation and spelling - morphology - composition The exercises are in a separate exercise book and are designed so that you can practise and remember the explained part using practical examples. To facilitate understanding and streamline your studying efforts, you will find in the key the correct solutions and translation of all exercises into English. You can also listen to the exercises marked with an icon on the recording. A subject index makes it easier to quickly find a particular grammatical phenomenon. The exercise book is part of the KEJ179 book The Great Spanish Grammar.
