The Mikrotik LHGGR&R11e-LTE7 modem is used to receive 4G LTE and 3G mobile signals outdoors. The device integrates a directional antenna with a 17 dBi gain and a category 7 LTE modem with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps. A dual-core 800 MHz processor with a 64-bit ARM architecture works together with 256 MB of RAM. The 227 × 391 × 391 mm construction withstands ambient temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. The system uses 16 MB of internal FLASH memory for data storage.

LTE Cat7
The integrated category 7 LTE modem supports download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbps. MIMO 2 × 2 technology for downloads and MIMO 1 × 1 for uploads increases transmission stability. The increased upload capacity facilitates the operation of camera systems and corporate VPN tunnels. The device supports a wide range of frequency bands, including B28 and B32.
Antenna Design
The directional antenna with a 17 dBi gain transmits a narrow beam and captures signals even from distant mobile operator base stations. The grid design allows air to pass through and reduces mechanical stress from wind. The low weight of the grid antenna makes it easier to install on high masts or booms. The non-detachable design eliminates losses on coaxial cables.
Interface
Connection to the local network is provided by a single Gigabit Ethernet port with power over cable support. The network cable transmits both data and power voltage of the 802.3af/at standard in the range of 12 to 57 V. Single-cable transmission of both power and data simplifies outdoor installation without the need for a separate power cable. Access to the mobile network requires inserting one Micro SIM card into the integrated slot. An IP54-certified cover protects the internal electronics from splashing water and dust ingress. The device operates in a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C in demanding climatic conditions. The manufacturer states a mean time between failures of approximately 200,000 hours at a temperature of 25°C.
Hardware
At the heart of the device is a dual-core processor with a 64-bit ARM architecture operating at 800 MHz. The 256 MB of RAM provides enough space for processing network tasks and routing tables. The 16 MB internal flash storage holds the RouterOS v7 operating system and configuration files. A passive heat sink dissipates heat from the processor and maintains a stable internal temperature.
Software Features
The RouterOS v7 operating system with a level 3 licence offers advanced tools for managing network traffic. The integrated firewall filters incoming and outgoing data packets according to set rules and protects the internal network. Encrypted VPN tunnels create a secure connection for remote branches or home users. The QoS function assigns priority to selected services, such as voice or video transmission.
