Pascal core on steroids
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti takes maximum advantage of outstanding NVIDIA Pascal architecture based on an ultra-fast FinFET manufacturing process with full DirectX 12 support. NVIDIA has massively overhauled the GP102 chip that forms the basis of the professional Titan X. The memory bus width dropped to 352bits, but for the first time faster memory modules have been used, running at 11008MHz. Thanks to this, the bandwidth has increased to 484 GB/s. This is a phenomenal shift compared to the previous 320GB/s and GTX 1080, especially to occur within the same generation of cards.
GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition
Thanks to above-standard cooling, the card maintains excellent operating conditions even in less ventilated cabinets. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has a timeless and bold design. The high-quality metal cover is backlit with the GeForce GTX logo, which also signals the different states of the card. The behaviour in can be set in GeForce Experience. Fans of utter silence might be slightly taken aback by the radial cooler. However, considering the unprecedented performance of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, higher noise levels can be tolerated.
