VITAMIN D3+K2 OROFAST® contains a specially formulated, patented nanoemulsion of vitamins D3 and K2. This form allows rapid absorption of both vitamins into the bloodstream directly through the highly vascularized sublingual mucosa, without the need for intestinal absorption.
Vitamin D
It contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function and normal blood calcium levels. In children, vitamin D is also needed for normal bone growth and development. Vitamin K also supports the maintenance of normal bone health. VITAMIN D3+K2 OROFAST® therefore also contains the original MK-7 all trans, the most biologically active isomer of vitamin K2 (menaquinone) from Gnosis/Lessafre.
Ingredients
Water; emulsifier: polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (polysorbate 80); thickener: glycerol; medium-chain triglycerides; menaquinone (vitamin K2 MK-7 all-trans); antioxidant: esters of fatty acids with ascorbic acid; cholecalciferol (vitamin D3, medium chain triglycerides, antioxidant: α-tocopherol); acidity regulator: citric acid; preservative: potassium sorbate; seasoning; L-arginine; sweetener: steviol glycosides from sweet stevia (Stevia rebaudiana).
Recommended dosage
The usual adult dose:
2-4 injections per day.
For children from 3 years old:
1 injection per day.
For children from 13 years old:
2 injections a day.
The appropriate dose can also be given as a single dose at longer intervals, e.g. once a week, once every 14 days, or once a month. Example: Adults can be given seven times the usual daily dose once a week: 14-28 injections. One dose (one injection) of VITAMIN D3+K2 OROFAST® sublingual spray contains 500 IU (12.5 µg) of vitamin D3 and 50 µg of vitamin K2. The daily dose of vitamin D is determined on an individual basis, taking into account age, lifestyle, eating habits, overweight or obesity, current sun exposure or skin colour.
Method of administration (instructions for use):
Shake the bottle before use. Apply pressure to the plunger and inject the emulsion into the mouth, preferably under the tongue (sublingually). Leave the emulsion in the mouth to allow it to be absorbed. Don't swallow. In the case of the need to apply several injections in one day, we recommend allowing sufficient time between injections to absorb the emulsion from the previous injection. Swallowing the emulsion is not a bad thing, however, this loses the advantage of this application form.
Notice
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Dietary supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any component of the product. Store in a cool, dry place protected from heat sources. Do not use if the packaging is damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The shelf life refers to the product properly stored in unopened packaging. Do not take anticoagulants (anti-clotting drugs) from the vitamin K antagonist group (e.g. warfarin) without consulting your doctor.
