Universal digital camera
The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ200 is a premium universal digital camera. Because of its flexible 25-600mm lens, you can shoot from close up or far away. It also has a 24x optical zoom for capturing distant objects, animals or sporting events. In addition, the camera’s highly effective optical image stabiliser competently suppresses blur caused by shaking hands or body movement, especially when capturing long-distance video or photos.
Advanced features
Lightspeed AF and burst shooting features enable you to capture high-speed action with a sequence of still pictures that are sharp and defined, even when it is difficult to keep the subject in the centre of the frame. You can then review the images after you have captured the action and choose the best-composed shot. In addition, because of the 12.1Mpx MOS sensor and fast Venus Engine processor, poor lighting conditions are no longer a problem. These features allow you to take your photography skills to a whole new level. Also, Panasonic's EVF technology offers 100% field-of-view, enabling accurate composition of your photos with the camera held close to the face in the traditional camera shooting style. Additionally, with the camera’s 3-inch free-angle display, you can even take self-portraits.
Perfect resolution with quality sound
The digital camera can handle high-speed video recording of up to 200fps at 1920x1080 resolution. Everything you record is saved in AVCHD or MP4 format. To make sure you never miss an important moment, the designated Motion Picture button lets you record while taking photos without having to switch modes. In addition, great video quality is further optimised by high-quality sound recorded by a built-in stereo microphone.
Smart capture
If you're not a professional photographer, you'll surely appreciate the Ai+ feature that lets you automatically take high-quality photos without you having to worry about what settings to use. Also, creative photographers will be pleased by the multiple filter modes and P/A/S/M priority programs that offer a wider choice of creative style. The filters are applied instantly so you can see what the resulting photo will look like, and you can also use them for video capture as well.
