Using the test
Allow the test and sample to equilibrate to room temperature (15 - 30 ° C) before testing. Do not eat, drink, smoke, chew or chew your mouth for 30 minutes before taking a saliva sample.
- Pour enough saliva into the enclosed saliva bag.
- Use a dropper to suck the saliva from the cup and drip 4 drops of saliva into an extraction plastic tube.
- Tear off the cap of the extraction solution ampoule and pour it all into the tube.
- Close the tube with a drip cap (included).
- Shake the tube and squeeze the contents about 10 times to mix the saliva well with the solution.
- Remove the test device from the foil bag and place it on a clean, flat surface. Turn the tube down with the dropper and gently press the 3 drops onto the test plate into the well marked S
- You will see the test result in 10 - 20 minutes. Do not read the result after more than 20 minutes.
Interpretation of Realy Tech Covid-19 Ag Saliva Test Results
Positive: Two red lines appear. One red line appears in control area C and one red line in test area T. The colour shade may vary, but the test should be considered positive whenever only a faint line is present. If the test is positive, contact your doctor.
Negative: Only one red line appears in control area C and none in test area T. A negative result indicates that there are no new coronavirus particles in the sample or that the number of viral particles is below a detectable range.
Invalid result: No red line appears in control area C. The test is invalid even if there is a T line in the test area. Insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedure is the most likely reason for failure. Check the procedure and repeat the test with a new test kit.
